Letter, 14/02/1938, Les Lockerbie to Mr Teviotdale, Appointed to school at Purekireki, inland from Owaka and Clinton. Moa bones are found scattered through the bush. Will undertake some digging soon and bring bones to the museum. Still digging at Kings Rock which contains fish hooks. Hope package of leaves arrived in time. Will send tent via rail.
