Letter, 17/11/1938, Roger Duff to H D Skinner, Comments regarding Dr Beaglehole's article and push for a school of social anthropology in wellington for the purpose of training officials to appreciate their administration. Duff comments that Beaglehole was critical of the Dunedin school but, in duff's view there is room for the two different approaches; Dunedin focus on grounding in archaeology and Wellington covering social generalizations. Seeks advice on a future paper and details of a adze.
