Letter, 03/05/1937, Burnett, Wanganui Museum to H D Skinner, Greenstone slab is 3 sided each side 6" and 2 feet long. Weight 90 lb. Shows 2 Mere and a huge toki have been cut off it. I do not think it is very old for the cuts have been made with hoop iron. It is very beautiful with clear dark curly grain. I knew the sinker was a fake. We have the Napier Moko exhibition from some 22 ?dried heads. Our Maori friend dislike it
