I would like to know whether you agree with my inference about the kakarings beings connected to Solomon ring-formed amulets & if you could tell me more about what kaka rings were used for. I am writing a monograph on the sun-bird symbol in folk art. I would like to do a comparative study using amulets in your collections. Please could you supply more information on these ornithomorphic amulets and on the idea of the 'bird-man' representing afterlife beliefs
