In particular mentions a bone artefact in the shape of a fish belonging to Mrs Beaton descendant of Kaikoura Whakatau. Mentions the Omihi pa site. Also mentions a sandstone tribal god near the mouth of the Clarence River. Writes about "tribal treasures" of Hinetahi. (?)
