Letter, 05/02/1937, Director Dominion Museum, Oliver to H D Skinner, List of items sent by Otago to Dominion for exchange, mostly Cook Island material. Prefer to select as there are some duplicates with current holdings. Should be no problem re burial chest as we have a good series. the Henley Canoe has been described by Best and stated it is in the Dominion Museum. The Management Committee will need to approve it leaving the Museum. Canoe shaped item should not be an issue.
