Argillite core. Mid grey and dark red. Cortex present.

Rock core. Mid grey and light yellow in colour.

Silcrete core. Light grey, dark yellow, cream and light red in colour.

Argillite core. Dark brown, dark red and light red in colour.

Complete unfinished adze. Grey stone. Oval cross-section at the butt, quadrangular at the bevel end. The surface is mostly bruised with flake scarring and some loss on the butt. There is a protruding curved shoulder on the front, and the stone of the front and sides of the butt is reduced. The bevel is demarcated by a straight subtle line. The cutting edge is straight and chipped with a loss on the proper right.
