Adze, Toki

Complete unfinished adze. Grey stone. Oval cross-section at the butt, quadrangular at the bevel end. The surface is mostly bruised with flake scarring and some loss on the butt. There is a protruding curved shoulder on the front, and the stone of the front and sides of the butt is reduced. The bevel is demarcated by a straight subtle line. The cutting edge is straight and chipped with a loss on the proper right.
