Adze roughout. Cross section is not clear, possibly oval. The surface is flaked. Undifferentiated butt. The blade and bevel are undifferentiated.

Broken adze, unidentified fragment remaining. Cross section most likely rectangular. The surface is mostly ground on one side, mostly bruised on two sides, and mostly flaked on one side. There are small, light brown, fibrous accretions on one broken surface. Butt is not present. Bevel is not present.

Complete adze. Stone. Mid grey. Cross-section is asymmetric. Surface is ground, with some flaking on corners. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Fragment missing from proper right side of back butt. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, heavily chipped. "Shag River" written on front.

Broken adze (portion of lower blade remaining). Stone. Mid grey, mid brown. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground on most of front and back, some light flaking. Butt not present, but sides begin to taper before break. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is chipped off. "Shag River" written on back.

Broken adze (proper right portion of butt remaining). Stone. Mid grey. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is mostly ground, with some bruising. "Shag R" written on front.

Adze fragment (unknown portion). Stone. Black. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface of non-broken edges is ground with some bruising. Butt, bevel and cutting edge not present. "Shag River" written on front.

Broken adze (upper butt remaining). Stone. Dark grey, light grey. Cross-section is oval. Surface is lightly flaked with some bruising. "Shag River" written on front.

Broken adze (butt remaining). Cross-section is oval. Surface is mostly ground. Small flake on lower proper left side of front and back. Sides are flaked. No differentiation between butt and blade. Blade not present.

Broken adze (lower blade remaining). Stone. Mid grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground. Butt not present. Demarcation of bevel not present. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, large fragment missing from proper left side. "Shag River" written on front.

Broken adze (butt remaining). Stone. Mid grey and light grey. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is flaked. "Shag River" written on front.
