Broken adze The cross-section is trapezoidal with the front narrower than the back. The surface is ground with flake scars on the back and sides. The butt is continuous with the blade and has had a bit broken off the top. The blade is broken off.

Broken adze, butt only The cross-section is oval. The surface is mostly ground with a few flake scars. There is a small flake scar on the proper left side of the butt.

Broken adze, middle part The cross-section at both ends of the adze are lenticular. The surface is ground on the front and sides. They back is bruised and there is some flake scars. The butt is missing/ has been broken off. The blade has been broken off.

Broken, unfinished adze, butt only The cross-section is asymmetrical. The surface has lots of flake scars and is natural stone. The top of the butt has been broken off.

Broken adze, butt only The cross-section at the top of the butt is asymmetrical and at the bottom of the butt it is plano-convex with the back flattened. The surface is natural stone with some flake scars. The top of the butt is missing and the butt is continuous with the blade. The blade has been broken off.

Broken adze, upper portion remaining. Cross section is oval. Surface is mostly bruised with some flaking on the butt. Minor differentiation of butt. Reduction of front from shoulder to poll. Bevel is not present.

Broken adze, butt remaining. Cross section is oval. Entire surface bruised with some flaking at top of poll. Undifferentiated as only butt is present. Blade is not present.

Complete adze. Cross section is oval. The surface is bruised with some polish on the front. The butt is undifferentiated. The bevel is broken/chipped with a strong asymmetric line demarcating the bevel from the blade.

Broken adze, butt end remaining. Cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground with some flaking. The butt is undifferentiated. The bevel and blade is not present.
