Broken flute, small longitudinal fragment remaining, neither end intact. There are striations decorating the surface in a chevron pattern. Where previously broken there is a visible repair.
Partially manufactured flute. Broken at both ends. Vertical striations on surface towards one end.

Complete flute. There are four perforations, three grouped together along the top of the flute, followed by a drill mark. The fourth perforation is at one end. There are striations in a chevron pattern across the surface
Contemporary wooden koauau made from maire. Three holes on top with flush bevelled ends. Underside has innovative flattened plane for placement on flat surfaces.
Wooden koauau. Cylindrical in shape with three holes on top which feature uncarved circular surface around each. Raised shoulder notch on rear side with small hole filled with unknown material. Design based on horizontal bands extending almost full length of koauau. Design based on three ridges (patapata) with two grooves (haehae) and notched ridge chevrons (pakati).
