Complete adze Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Sawing marks are present on both proper left and proper right sides. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Both front and back have bevels demarcated by lines. Cutting edge is angled and sharp.

Broken adze (lower blade remaining) Cross section is rectangular. Surface is ground, except for broken edge. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved.

Broken adze. Blade remaining. Oval cross-section The surface is ground and bruised, with some flaking on the front. There is no differentiation between the butt and the blade. The sides taper in towards the poll end. The bevel is continuous. The cutting edge is blunt and curved. It is heavily chipped and broken.

Incomplete adze. Blade remaining. Plano-convex, back flattened. Surface is bruised with flaking around the cutting edge. Butt not present. Bevel is demarcated by a strong straight line. Cutting edge is rounded, blunt and heavily chipped.

Complete adze. Lenticular Surface is bruised Butt undifferentiated. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is smooth, sharp and slightly rounded.
