Complete adze. Rectangular Ground with heavy flaking and bruising around sides, butt and poll. Butt has major differentiation, sides have been clearly reduced and shoulders are raised. Bevel demarcated by straight line across blade. Cutting edge is rounded, sharp and slightly chipped.

Complete adze. Grey stone. Surface is ground with large flake missing from front of blade near butt. Cross-section is rectangular. Bevel is demarcated by a straight line. Cutting edge is not present due to flaking. "Flagstaff. Otago." inscription.

Adze roughout. The c ross section is approximately rectangular. The surface is flaked. The butt is undifferentiated. There is no bevel and the cutting edge is blunt.

Complete adze. Green stone. Lenticular cross-section. The surface is flaked with two smooth areas on the back. There is no distinction between the blade and the butt. The bevel is a very slight curve and is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is flaked.
