Butt not present. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is smooth, sharp and straight, with a chip on the right side proper.

Complete adze. Cross-section of blade is oval, cross-section of butt is circular. Surface is mostly bruised. Bruising extends from the butt, which extends down the sides but not the front or back. Front and back are both ground. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced to form small shoulder. Bevel is continuous with blade, blade is sharp and curved.

Butt has major differentiation, shoulders taper in clearly on both sides. The bevel is demarcated by a very faint ridge and the cutting edge is sharp and curved, with a chip on the front proper right.

The bevel is demarcated by a line, and curves down to the cutting edge. The cutting edge is sharp, straight and smooth with flaking on the front right side proper.

Complete adze. Rectangular The surface is ground with flaking on front, back, poll, sides and cutting edge. Butt undifferentiated. The bevel to the cutting edge has a large chip, so cannot tell.
