Broken pounamu gouge, medial portion remaining. Mid green, silver, and black in colour. Surface is ground. Round in cross section. Remnants of bevel indicate that it is demarcated by a ridge and an indentation.
Complete pounamu chisel. Mid green in colour. Surface is ground and bruised. Cross section is rectangular. Bevel at the distal end is demarcated by a line and a change in surface. Cutting edge is oblique and sharp. There is another bevel at the proximal end on the front, also demarcated by a line.
Complete pounamu gouge. Dark green in colour. Surface is ground with sawing marks on one side. Cross section is round. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Distal end tapers to a point.
Complete chisel. Asymmetrical Surface is ground, with flaking on right side proper and around break. Butt not present. Bevel is demarcated with faint line. Cutting edge is smooth, sharp and slightly rounded. Sawing mark down proper right side.
Complete pounamu chisel. Dark green and mid green in colour. Surface is ground and bruised. There is a bevel on each side, both demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp.
Piece of worked pounamu. Dark green in colour. Surface is ground. Cross section is round, slightly flattened on one end due to a deep reduction/indentation. Both ends are broken, with a small sawing mark evident on one end.
Broken pounamu gouge, distal portion remaining. Light green in colour. Surface is ground. Oval cross section. Bevel is demarcated by a ridge and an indentation. Cutting edge is chipped.
Piece of worked pounamu, possibly a broken chisel edge. Dark green in colour. Surface is ground and bruised. Tapered toward one end, which appears to have a bevel and a cutting edge.
Complete adze. Stone. Mid grey, light grey. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground on proper left side and front lower blade, lightly bruised on all other surfaces. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced forming shoulder. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is chipped off. "Little Papanui" written on front.
Complete adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface of front is ground, surface of sides and back butt bruised with some flaking on front. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, proper right side on back tapered. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Large chip on proper right side. On front; Otago.
Complete roughout. Pounamu. Light green, white. Cross-section is diamond shaped, though apices are not aligned. Surface is flaked and bruised. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced. Bevel is flaked and unfinished, continuous with blade. Cutting edge is blunt and curved, unfinished. Missing fragment from proper left side.
