Complete adze. Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Area of proper left side of front butt heavily reduced, just on front. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, chipped on proper right side. Otago written on front.

Broken adze (back of blade remaining, front and butt broken off). Stone. Dark grey. Probably rectangular, judging from back half. Surface of bevel is ground, becoming bruised. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is broken off. Otago written on back.
