Complete adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Minor differentiation, gentle tapering of sides towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by line. Cutting edge is sharp and straight.

Complete adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel continuous with blade, cutting edge curved and sharp.

Complete pounamu gouge. The cross section is circular. The surface is ground towards the blade and bruised towards the poll. The bevel is demarcated by a curved line and concave mark. The cutting edge is curved and sharp, with some chipping. There is a historic break through the centre of the gouge, which has been repaired.

Piece of worked pounamu, possibly a pendant or adze. Rectangular shape and cross section. Surface is ground with sawing marks on one side edge. Broken at both ends. Drill mark at one end, indicating a broken suspension hole.

Incomplete pounamu chisel. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground, with flaking on the proper left and right corners of the cutting edge. There are significant sawing marks down the centre of both the front and back. There is minor delineation between the butt and blade, with the sides tapering towards the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and blunt.

Complete adze. The cross section of the blade is rectangular, the cross section of the butt is plano-convex with the back flattened. The surface is predominantly ground, with some bruising on the butt and sides, and flaking on the back. The butt is differentiated by having a plano-convex cross section in contrast to the rectangular cross section of the blade. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.

Roughout Quadrangular at poll, rectangular at blade. Bruised and flaked. Butt has minor differentiation, sides taper toward poll. Bevel continuous with blade. Cutting edge blunt, rough and uneven.

Complete adze. Asymmetrical Bruised and flaked. Butt undifferentiated. Bevel continuous with blade, tapering down to cutting edge which is smooth, sharp and rounded.

Broken adze, part of butt and most of blade remaining. Dark grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground and bruised. Front of the butt is reduced to form a ridge and sides are slightly reduced. Poll is not present. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is not present due to large flake missing from the front of blade. "Onepoto" inscription.

Roughout Asymmetrical Heavily bruised and flaked. Oxidisation has occurred on both sides. Butt has minor differentiation, sides are slightly reduced. Bevel demarcated by faint line running from corner to corner. Cutting edge is rough, blunt and uneven.

Incomplete adze - blade extant. Asymmetrical Bruised and flaked. Butt not present. Bevel demarcated by a faint horizontal line. Cutting edge is uneven, sharp and rounded.

Complete adze. Asymmetrical. Bruised and flaked. Butt undifferentiated. Bevel continuous with blade. Cutting edge curved and blunt.
