Complete adze. Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Front and back surfaces are ground, becoming bruised on sides and butt. Major differentiation between butt and blade, sides and front reduced, forming shoulder. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, large chip on proper left side. ?Otago written on front.
