Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Oval cross-section. The surface is mostly ground on the blade with bruising and flake scars. There is a slight shoulder on the proper left side of the front at the base of the butt, and a reduction in the stone on that side of the butt. There is no other distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the butt taper in towards the poll, which is flaked. The bevel is demarcated by an irregular line. The cutting edge is blunt and flaked.
