Complete adze. Grey stone. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with the back narrower than the front. Surface is ground with cutting and scraping marks across the back. Proper left side of the butt is slightly reduced. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is curved and sharp with flaking on the proper right side. "Momona. Taieri Plain." inscription
