Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Grey and brown stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the front narrower than the back. The surface is coarse and bruised with a ground blade and flake scars on the proper left side. The butt is differentiated from the blade by a reduction in the stone on the front, making one defined shoulder in the centre of the front. The bevel is gently curved and continuous with the blade. There is black colouring on the back and proper right.
