Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Cross-section is oval at butt, triangular with apex to front at blade, apex flattening to become a trapezoidal shape towards very lower blade. Surface is ground on sides of blade with some intermittent bruising and bevel, bruised on back and butt. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced forming large shoulder. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, concave just at the end of bevel to cutting edge. "Waitaki" written on proper right side. Sticker on back reads "Waitaki".
