Adze, Toki
Complete stone adze. Mid grey. Rectangular cross-section. Ground on the blade and bruised on the butt. Major differentiation between butt and blade with knobs at shoulder. Butt tapers slightly towards the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is sharp and slightly oblique. Sticker attached to back side that reads "Otago Museum. Maori Adze. Found [illegible] Otago Heads. Pres [illegible] H. Calder. No..]
