Adze, Toki

Complete unfinished adze. Black stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is bruised on the sides, flaked on the butt and ground on the blade. There is a small reduction in the stone on the sides of the butt. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is sharp and oblique.
