Bailer, Tata
Complete wooden tatā (canoe bailer). There is a large curved handle with a simple manaia carved into the handle knob. Where the handle meets the bailer there is a large mouth carving. At the funnel end of the bailer there are two curved ridges. The walls of the bailer are high and straight. There are several cracks where the walls meet the base. Wood is stained dark red.
