Kete Muka (Wall Pocket). Woven from undyed muka using whatu aho rua (two-pair weft-twining). Kaupapa (body) decorated with mawhitiwhiti (woven cross stitch pattern work) and some whenu (warps) are loosely woven to add decoration. Muka (Flax fiber) cord is looped through weft stitches along the body to add a swirling decorative element. Two muka tassels attached to muka cords constructed using the miro (rolling) technique feature on the front. Outer edge frill work is woven independently and sewn to the item with thread. Lined with pink coloured fabric.
