Stick, Walking, Tokotoko
Complete tokotoko (walking stick). Light brown wood with surface worked smooth. Circular in cross section. Proximal end is sawn flat, with a male human figure. Figure has a full moko and both hands rest on stomach; proper right leg broken off. Two bands of carvings about one-quarter and three-quarters from the proximal end: former is a diamond motif carving and latter is made of two simple grooves. Tapers to a point at the distal end.
