Adze, Toki
Incomplete adze roughout. Dark grey stone. Asymmetrical cross-section. The surface is roughly flaked. There is a reduction in the front and back of the stone near the end of the object which could indicate a butt. There is no obvious bevel. The blade tapers towards the cutting edge. It is unclear which is the front. The cutting edge is unworked and flaked. There is a red substance adhered to one side.
