Complete adze. Stone. Black, mid brown. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground, flaking on back and sides. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "Sumner" written on back.
