Complete adze Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of butt oval. Surface is ground Major differentiation between butt and blade. Front reduced. Back of butt slopes up towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade and is concave. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Chipped on proper left and proper right sides.
