Complete adze. The cross section of the blade is lozenge shaped. The cross section of the butt is plano-convex with the back flattened. The surface of the back is ground. The surface of the front and sides is predominantly ground at the lower end becoming predominantly bruised towards the poll. There is a large circular chip from the surface of the front at the cutting edge. There is dark brown speckling on the surface around the shoulder and continuing down the proper left side. There is a dark brown stain under the shoulder fading to speckling down the proper right side. The butt is differentiated by a reduction in the front from the shoulder to the poll and the transition from lozenge to plano-convex cross section. There is a prominent ridge at the shoulder. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved, chipped and blunt.
