Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Butt is differentiated from the blade by a straight ridge on the front. Sides of the butt are tapered toward the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade with a concave indentation. Cutting edge is curved and blunt. Attached sticker reads "found on Summit of Signal Hill near ruined whare. 26.12.15. SM--. Had I a tongue what tales I could tell of whakas and Kaitangatas: te nagui". Another attached sticker reads "Kanuita-u Te Aroho Kea Koi"
