Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Argillite. Light green, dark grey. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface of front and sides of blade are ground, bruising on sides of butt. Back of blade is flaked. Major differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced. Bevel is demarcated by a change in surface type from ground to flaked. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, chipped. Wedderburn written on front.
