Complete adze Asymmetrical cross-section The front of the adze is mostly ground with an unpolished surface on the proper right. The back and poll of the adze are bruised and unpolished. There is a flake scar on the cutting edge proper left. There is no differentiation between the blade and the butt. The cutting edge is sharp but broken by the flake scar on the proper left. There is a slight straight bevel that is only differentiated from the blade by its polished surface
