Complete adze. Dark green and brown pounamu. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground and flaked. Differentiation between butt and blade on the proper right side; side and front reduced to form a shoulder. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is not present due to flaking. "Sth. Canty." inscription on front
