Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Light green, silver, black pounamu. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground and bruised. Sides of the butt are reduced form shoulders, particularly on the proper right side. Proper right side of the blade has been flaked away. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is oblique and sharp. "Banks P." inscription on front.
