Cast, Patu
Broken cast of patu, handle to lower blade remaining. Butt of handle is ornately decorated and carved. There are further carving on the blade. There is one visible repair where previously broken and re-plastered, as well as two breaks that have not been repaired, and at the broken edge there is a visible wire that runs the length of the patu internally, keeping the broken pieces together.
