Adze, Toki

Broken adze (blade and lower butt remaining). Pounamu. Light green, mid green, light grey. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground, with bruising on sides. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, proper left side tapers towards break, proper right side reduced but flares out before break. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped along cutting edge. "? Taieri P." written on front.
