Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Mid green and light green pounamu. Surface is ground with some flaking and bruising on the sides. Cross-section is rectangular. Sides of the butt are reduced to a point at the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is sharp and straight; blade tapers toward the cutting edge. "Kaikoura" inscription on back.
