Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Dark grey stone. Surface is ground and bruised. Cross-section is oval on the butt and trapezoidal on the blade, with back narrower than the front. Sides of the butt are reduced to form shoulders. Bevel is demarcated by a curved blade. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Kaikoura" inscription on front.
