Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Mid brown and grey stone. Surface is ground and bruised, with cracks running on back proper left side and front near the shoulders and mid-blade. Cross-section is oval. No differentiation between butt and blade; sides taper toward poll. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is not present due to chipping. "Kaikoura" inscription on back.
