Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Green stone. The cross-section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. The surface is mostly ground on the blade, with bruising on the sides and flaking on the butt. There is a reduction in the stone on the sides of the butt. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is sharp with a large chip in the centre.
