Whare whakairo, Pou tokomanawa
Complete carving of a mal figure, very large. There is a large projection off the end of the head that is perforated. The face is carved in a full moko that has been filled in black. There is paua shell inlay for the eyes with black, circular pieces of wood for pupils. There is a simple hei tiki carving around the figure's neck with both three-fingered hands resting on his chest. Chipped around feet and attached to a base. The back is flat. The figure is pained red.
