Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Grey/green and brown. Cross-section of blade is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front, front slightly rounded. Cross-section of butt is oval. All surface is bruised, except for lower blade that is ground. Major differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced forming shoulder. Poll is reduced on proper left side. Bevel is demarcated by a ridge at the chin and is slightly concave. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Southland written on front.
