Complete adze Oval cross-section at the butt, and rectangular at the blade The blade has a smooth surface front and back, with bruising on the sides and on the front of the butt. There are a few flake scars on the poll, the proper left back and proper right front. There is a flake scar on the back proper right of the cutting edge Bruising on the sides of the adze and on the front of the butt differentiate it from the blade. The bevel is smooth and demarcated from the rougher surfaced blade by a line. The cutting edge is sharp with a few small flake scars
