Chisel, Whao
Broken pounamu chisel, lower blade remaining. The cross section is lenticular. The surface is ground, with flaking at the break. There are sawing marks on the proper left side and the back of the blade. The bevel is demarcated by a straight line. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.
