Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Pounamu. Mid green, and light green. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly bruised with some flaking, except for cutting edge and bevel which is ground. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper to poll, which is oblique. Bevel is demarcated by a change in surface, from ground to flaked. Cutting edge is blunt and curved, heavily chipped. "Moeraki" written on front.
