Previously broken adze Cross-section is rectangular Surface of blade is ground, the rest is bruised. Large flake on lower front. No differentiation between butt and blade. Sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade. Blade is sharp and curved. "Birchfield. North of Westport" written on front.
