Chisel, Whao

Complete unfinished chisel. Green/grey stone. Triangular cross-section. The surface is flaked with a ground bevel. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in from the poll towards the cutting edge. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved. "1115 Greenhills S." is writtten on the bevel.
