Spear, Eel, Matarau
Complete matarau (eel spear). Both ends of the shaft taper to a point. The matarau has seven tines, three each side of the shaft point. The two exterior tines extend approximately 25cm to reach the shaft, where the shaft has been notched to hold them. The proper right exterior tine has been notched six times near the base of the tine.
